Bowl Food

There are a lot of people who just aren't cooks and they fall pray to pre-packaged crap food.  When you are looking to get healthy and change your life through nutrition it is very difficult and time consuming to teach yourself how to cook healthy.  But actually it is easier since you are eliminating all the junk.
spinach_popeye.jpg Easy, high nutrient, low calorie, filling lunch:
Take a bowl and fill it 1/2 way with frozen mixed veggies (I like corn, peas, beans & carrots).
microwave it until it's thawed and just getting warm.
Add low or no salt beans, as much as you want (I like refried beans)
Add salsa, your favorite kind (no junk added)
Microwave until warm
It is so good and filling!
Sometimes if I've been exercising hard I will add leftover brown rice or potatoes.
*Make sure that the bowl you use is BPA free
