Vitamins and supplements are important to aide in a healthy diet but what to take?
I think that it is important to take a multi vitamin (all natural) and one that is age and sex specific. Otherwise what you take is specific to your individual needs.
Talking with your doctor is important to help you figure out what you need.
I take a multi vitamin, calcium with D, B complex and E (for exercise recovery).
The only supplement that I take is L-Lysine and only if I feel a cold sore coming on. I take 3500mg and it seems to do the trick!
I am very leary of most supplements, they tend to have bad side effects. Some even change they way your skin smells gives you bad breath. If you are taking a supplement or thinking about one, google it first and find out what potential harm that it can do. Most aren't worth it, save your money.
